About The Role
Our Customer Experience team is a multi functional team with a large scope. We manage all stages and touch points of our customer journey. Our team are the torch bearers for the experience of both our restaurant partners and our users.
This role is equal parts operations and support. You will learn the in’s and out’s of all of our restaurant partners and our backend operations- and support both sides of our marketplace. Our partners are experts in the service industry - and we strive to meet the same standards they would have in their dining rooms with our attention to detail and levels of service.
This role is for a very specific shift. Eligible candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends. This is a full-time position with a day work week schedule. Candidates must be in the PST timezone to be considered.
When you’re not directly supporting guests and customers, you will help build and maintain support documentation, identify and escalate software bugs, provide support to other internal teams and partners, and assist the executive team with various tasks. To succeed in this role you will need to have strong interpersonal, telephone, communication, and organizational skills.
This role is ideal for tech savvy individuals with customer facing experience - particularly those looking to transition from the hospitality industry into the startup technology world.
What you will do:
- Address guest and customer issues, find the cause, select and explain the best solution
- Communicate with customers through email, phone, and online texting services
- Input, manage and troubleshoot reservations through Tablz
- Assist in back-end onboarding , inputting data and creating new restaurant profiles in our systems
- Participate in creating and maintaining product feature and “how to” documentation for both internal and external use
- Identify, test, document, and escalate possible software bugs that are reported by customers or team members
- Consistently maintain high standards of quality while ensuring tasks; customer requests are handled in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
- Actively participate within the team to improve internal process, communication, and success
What you will need:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience with complex and open-ended problem solving that demonstrates critical thinking skills
- Comfort with software systems and the ability to quickly learn the various products offered by Tablz and the components involved in supporting both the guest and the customer
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt as processes are changed and honed over time
- Ability to use (or quickly learn how to use) technology for remote team collaboration, specifically: Slack for team chat, Google Hangouts for video chat, Gmail for email, and Google Drive for file sharing
- Customer service experience and/or experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred to help understand the products Tablz offers
Experience with the following software tools will be beneficial but not required:
- Zendesk
- Monday
- Matterport
- G-Suite
Eligibility:
- This position is a remote position , but the successful candidate must be in PST Timezone.
