Are you passionate about transforming how people learn in a digital and AI-enabled world? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of technology, user experience and skills development? And do you want to play a key role in building a skills-based organisation and shaping the future of learning within a global, purpose-driven organisation? Then join us as our Functional Owner for Learning & Skills and help bring LearnWise to the next level.
Our consultants and engineers shape the world around you. From clean drinking water to sustainable infrastructure, our work improves lives every day. We believe meaningful solutions are created together, with our clients, partners and each other. Investing in our people is central to that mission.
What you will do as Functional Owner
This role sits at the heart of our ambition to invest in our people, strengthen our digital maturity and transition towards a skills-based organisation. As Functional Owner, you are responsible for the development, optimisation and adoption of our learning ecosystem: LearnWise—our AI-enabled platform that connects skills, learning, knowledge and opportunities in the flow of work, with personalised learning and career guidance.
You support the implementation of how skills are identified, developed and applied. This includes defining how skills connect to jobs, career paths and learning journeys. You also ensure this is reflected in the platform. Where others focus on what people learn, you focus on how learning, skills and development come together in practice in our learning platform. You create a seamless, personalised and engaging experience that supports continuous development, AI adoption and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional ownership & platform evolution: You implement and drive the vision, roadmap and backlog of LearnWise, continuously improving the platform based on user insights, business needs and technological developments.
- Platform implementation & adoption: You drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Cornerstone LXP and Talent Marketplace, ensuring strong adoption by connecting the platform to daily work.
- Skills-based organisation enablement: You support connecting skills, learning and career development across systems, ensuring skills frameworks support insight into learning needs, workforce planning and talent decisions.
- Learner experience & AI-driven innovation: You optimise the end-to-end learner journey and embed AI to personalise learning and support career development.
- AI adoption through learning: You support AI adoption by integrating AI into learning experiences and building confidence among leaders and employees.
- Stakeholder collaboration & ecosystem alignment: You align academy sponsors, knowledge groups, HR, IT and Digital teams to create a coherent learning ecosystem.
- Data, insights & continuous improvement: You use data and analytics to monitor usage and impact, translate insights into improvements, and strengthen a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
- Learning programmes & initiatives: You contribute to the design and delivery of key learning initiatives and projects. For instance taking a role in the coordination of selected leadership and talent programmes, ensuring alignment between platform, content and strategy.
