About the Role
The manager is responsible for leading the OEM team, providing strategic and operational oversight of three key areas: Production Planning and Resource Management (PPRM), Learning and Development (L&D), and Quality, Processes and Reporting (QPR). This role is essential to combine strategic thinking with operational expertise, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities to optimize organizational efficiency and performance.
What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?
Position-specific responsibilities:
- Provides coaching, mentoring, and performance management for team members.
- Monitor your team's performance against KPIs, identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
- Effectively manage team budgets and resources.
- Regularly reports performance and progress to FBS and client management.
Production Planning and Resource Management (PPRM):
- Oversees the efficient allocation of resources within operational teams.
- Track actual versus forecasted resource utilization by generating capacity reports and forecasts.
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize resource efficiency and productivity.
Learning and Development (L&D):
- Develops and implements a comprehensive L&D training plan, which includes functional training, soft skills, and corporate training.
- Manages the L&D budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and the timely delivery of training initiatives.
- Monitors the effectiveness of training programs and makes adjustments as needed.
Quality, Processes and Reporting (QPR):
- Establishes and maintains a robust FBS Controls Framework for teams supporting Ford Credit and Ford Bank Germany, including:
- Management of document records (retention and deletion).
- Maintaining and updating the risk register.
- Planning and executing business continuity.
- Audit coordination.
- Timely management of control deficiencies within operational teams.
- Manages the FBS Controls Forum, including setting the agenda and facilitating meetings.
- Develops and maintains an annual schedule of controls, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
- Oversees the timely completion of audits, testing of controls and other control-related activities.
- Manages projects focused on process efficiency and automation, including change management initiatives.
- Maintains accurate organizational charts and competency matrices.
- Manages purchase orders for FBS expenses related to Ford Credit.
- Oversees the production of accurate and timely reports for FBS and client management, ensuring data quality and integrity

Are we looking for you? Yes, if you have:
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, in an environment focused on quality.
- Experience in controls and quality assurance is preferred, preferably in financial services.
- Experience coordinating projects and initiatives across multiple teams and locations
- Demonstrated success in designing and managing risk-based controls, including knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Analytical skills and experience in data-driven process improvement.
