As the HRBP You Will:
- Manage all store and head office benefits administration and reconciliation
- Assist in seasonal hiring and in each region
- Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Address employee relations issues, conflicts, and concerns, working to resolve them in a fair and consistent manner.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborating with senior management on building out LMS system and processes
- Cross train in payroll
- Manage Worksafe BC/WCB claims in all regions
- Administer employee change requests
- ROE management
- Own the LMIA internal process
- Track and help build out HR metrics in all regions
- Work alongside regional operations to ensure consistent and standardized employee onboarding experience
- Oversee the health and safety of requirements and compliance at a store level
- Support the development of employee training and succesion planning
You Will Bring:
- Bachelors degree in HR or in business administration (Required)
- CPHR or provincial equivalent, designated or working towards it (Required)
- 3+ years in progressive HR experience (required), with a focus on learning and development is preferred
- Experience with ADP, Asana, and Sharepoint is an asset
- Hospitality industry experience is an asset, HR related or not
- Familiar with US workforce is as asset (WA)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in immigration and LMIA processes
- Sharp eye for detail
- Experience working directly alongside operations teams is preferred
- Time management
- Bilingual in French is an asset
- Must be willing to travel up to 20%
- Must have designated work space in a remote setting
