We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to join our team as a
Learning & Development Advisor, reporting to the L&D Manager, with a primary focus on supporting our
Emerging Talent (Early Careers) programmes. This is a key role within the L&D team, providing efficient and effective operational support to deliver a consistent, high-quality learner experience for our graduates, apprentices and future talent across Bouygues
Job Purpose & Scope
You will coordinate and administer training programmes, with a focus on development programmes and Emerging Talent growth (including Graduates and Apprentices). Using the Learning Management System (LMS) daily, you will track learning activity and completion, liaise with internal and external trainers, and support L&D financial processes. You will also act as a key point of contact for employees and stakeholders, providing guidance and promoting learning opportunities across the organisation.
Essential
- Proven track record within Learning and Development, working across the full training life cycle (training needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation)
- Strong communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Passionate about developing people and driven to achieve success
- Digitally savvy with aa working knowledge of LMS, MS Teams, MS Office and other tools
- Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required to support programme delivery and related events
Key Responsibilities Summary
**Programme Delivery & Administration**
- Oversee coordination and administration of leadership, management, graduate, and apprenticeship training programmes
- Schedule training sessions, manage calendars, and provide on-site support at programme events
- Serve as primary point of contact for graduates and apprentices throughout their journey
**Apprenticeship Focus**
- Champion upskilling opportunities using the Apprenticeship Levy
- Support apprentices through application, enrolment, and development activities
- Maintain regular communication with training providers to monitor progress and resolve challenges
**Professional Accreditation Support**
- Process chartership requests and provide ongoing support for professional accreditation candidates
- Liaise with professional bodies (CIOB, RICS, ICE) to ensure compliance with requirements
**Financial & Administrative Management**
- Manage L&D budget processes (purchase orders, invoice processing, expense tracking)
- Maintain accurate training records with completion data and ensure policy compliance
**Evaluation & Reporting**
- Evaluate programme effectiveness through feedback, data analysis, and stakeholder input
- Compile, analyse, and present comprehensive training reports
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to HR managers and business stakeholders on L&D matters
