Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Jr. Retirement Plan Consultant and become a vital part of helping clients build secure and prosperous futures. In this energetic role, you will assist in delivering tailored retirement plan solutions, oversee plan administration, and ensure proper compliance of defined contribution retirement plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retirement plan expertise while making a meaningful impact on clients’ financial well-being. You will work closely with senior consultants to analyze client needs, prepare comprehensive reports, and contribute to the growth of our retirement planning services.
Duties
- Retirement plan administration, compliance testing (401(a)(4), ADP/ACP, 410(b) etc.), and preparation of plan valuation reports.
- Prepare and file government forms 5500, 8955, and all related schedules and notices.
- Review and reconcile retirement plan trust assets.
- Creation of retirement plan documents and subsequent plan amendments.
- Maintain strong customer relationship management by providing timely updates and addressing client inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Stay informed about industry regulations to ensure adherence in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Defined Contribution retirement plans.
- Knowledgeable in aspects of pension administration, IRS compliance and ERISA regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics a plus
- QKA Designation or working towards designation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder and participant engagement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory standards.
- Experience with DATAIR Pension Systems and FTWilliams is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
