An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated Digital Learning Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis to support the deployment of our new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
As part of the IT Training Team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the EPR programme by designing, developing and delivering high-quality digital learning resources tailored to the needs of clinical and non-clinical staff across the Trust. These resources will support the safe and effective adoption of the new EPR system, ensuring staff are confident and competent in its use.
You will work closely with subject matter experts, system leads and project teams to translate complex workflows and system functionality into engaging, accessible and inclusive digital content. This includes e-learning modules, video tutorials, interactive guides and other digital formats hosted on the Trust’s Learning Management System.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that all digital content meets national and local standards, is quality assured, and is aligned with the training strategy for the EPR programme. Your work will directly contribute to the Trust’s digital transformation goals and the delivery of safer, more efficient patient care.
Main duties of the job
Significant responsibilities of this role will be to maintain the e-Learning and digital resource information for Trust staff, including user accounts, allocating modules and courses, updating information, and running and printing reports will include planning, designing and delivery of a variety of training courses, associated training materials and training videos whilst striving for continuous improvement in line with the Trust’s values and behaviours.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels is essential.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
The post holder will support and train learners in digital resources, deliver on-line virtual courses via MS Teams and other IT training initiatives as required and use the Learning Management System to set up new learning accounts, enrol learners for courses and track their progress through reporting tools.
Work with ICT system experts to develop new digital resources and support materials
Undertake regular surveys and audits on the use of digital learning in the Trust, to inform ongoing improvements and developments to the system
Responsible for providing digital training resources to end-users across the Trust that supports the business of the Trust, using whatever recognised technique best serves it and the end users’ needs.
