Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Learning Systems (LMS) Administrator / Analyst to support both Build/Change and Run-the-Business activities for enterprise learning platforms (Skillify/NxU). This role will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for learning technologies, driving system enhancements, configurations, integrations, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Build / Change the Business
- Lead new enhancements and projects for learning systems
- Act as SME, advising on system capabilities and design solutions
- Document system functionality and configurations
- Define and write test cases; create and manage test data
- Perform unit, functional, and support UAT testing
- Configure system security, roles, and user permissions
- Build and test system integrations with internal/external tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve system defects/issues
- Create courses, sessions, and learning paths (Skillify/NxU)
- Develop and assign course surveys
- Generate reports, dashboards, and learning metrics
- Manage and resolve LMS-related ServiceNow tickets
Run the Business (Learning Technologies)
- Serve as primary LMS Administrator
- Manage user access, roles, and security configurations
- Set up permissions for training/admin users
- Maintain and update courses, sessions, and learning content
- Create/edit survey templates and assign to programs
- Track and manage enrollments and learner activity
- Troubleshoot LMS issues and coordinate with vendors
- Support learning governance (e.g., Learning Council discussions)
Core Responsibilities / Capacity
- Handle ongoing system support and requests
- Configure LMS settings, permissions, and security
- Support integrations with SaaS/Vendor teams
- Manage training setup (courses, classes, programs)
- Maintain existing programs and launch new offerings
- Oversee course lifecycle management
- Manage surveys, enrollments, learning paths, and reporting
Required Skills (Top 5)
- LMS Administration (Skillify, NxU, or similar platforms like Cornerstone, Workday LMS)
- Strong experience with user roles, permissions & security setup
- Testing experience (UAT, functional, unit testing)
- Reporting & analytics (learning metrics, dashboards)
- Integration experience (APIs, SaaS tools, ServiceNow tickets)
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Learning Technologies / L&D teams
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or ticketing systems
- Knowledge of instructional design / course creation
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
