Position Overview
The Training & Culture Development Manager is responsible for designing and leading comprehensive training programs and building a strong, scalable culture across both internal employees and driver partners.
This role oversees corporate training, driver training, and community culture development to ensure consistent capability building, engagement, and alignment with GSM’s values in a fast-growing mobility platform.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Capability Development
- Design and develop structured training frameworks and learning pathways for different job levels and functions
- Build and manage internal trainer (train-the-trainer) programs and ensure effective knowledge transfer
- Develop and operate the Learning Management System (LMS), with a strong focus on e-learning (target ~90%)
- Deliver onboarding, functional, and leadership training programs
- Ensure overall governance and quality control of training and culture development activities
- Develop training content for driver onboarding, product knowledge, and service skills
- Execute training programs for new drivers, campaigns, new product launches, and retraining
- Promote and monitor e-learning adoption among drivers based on structured learning paths
- Provide support, guidance, and onboarding assistance to new drivers
2. Culture & Community Development
- Design and implement internal culture-building programs, campaigns, and engagement initiatives
- Organize internal communications, cultural events, and performance recognition programs
- Collect feedback and propose initiatives to improve workplace environment and employee/driver engagement
- Measure culture adoption and ensure alignment with company values across markets
- Develop and strengthen a professional driver community for Xanh SM
- Design and implement driver engagement programs tailored to each market
- Organize driver events, recognition programs, and regular engagement activities
- Operate internal communication channels dedicated to drivers
- Gather driver insights and collaborate with relevant teams to improve driver experience
3. Global Program Management
- Lead and execute large-scale training and culture initiatives across markets
- Ensure consistency of training content and culture programs globally while adapting to local contexts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, Marketplace) to align execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related fields
- 8–12+ years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, or Culture roles
- Experience in large-scale training programs (preferably in mobility, retail, or service industries)
- Strong experience in LMS, e-learning development, and training system design
- Experience working with frontline workforce or driver/partner ecosystems is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, program management, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build programs from scratch in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Fluent in English and local language.
