The
Learning & Development Assistant is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of mandatory and operational training across the organisation. The role ensures compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, manages training providers and contracts, maintains accurate records in the HRMS, and supports the effective delivery and tracking of learning activities. This is a hands-on, operational role with high exposure to stakeholders, systems, and compliance-driven processes. Your role
- Launch, manage, and maintain training courses and sessions in the HRMS (Cornerstone)
- Collect training needs from departments and coordinate with internal and external trainers
- Design, maintain, and monitor the annual Training Plan and training calendar
- Review certifications and qualifications; plan and track required refreshers
- Coordinate all aspects of training delivery (scheduling, logistics, attendance, updates)
- Manage external training providers, including contracts, invoices, and service quality
- Draft and monitor the training budget to support the Employee Engagement Specialist to whom the role reports. Support approvals and cost tracking
- Collect certificates and monitor validity, expirations, and compliance status
- Track training completion, feedback, effectiveness, and key L&D KPIs
- Support departments with HRMS course setup, enrollments, and reporting
Your profile
- University degree in Human Resources, Economics or related fields is a plus
- Strong experience in training coordination, L&D operations, and/or HR operations
- Hands-on experience with LMS / HRMS platforms (Cornerstone strongly preferred)
- Experience in compliance-driven or mandatory training environments is a plus
- Exposure to working with external vendors and procurement processes
- Strong planning, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines and priorities
- Data-driven mindset; comfortable with reporting and analysis (Excel, PowerBI)
- Clear, structured written and verbal communication in English
- Other languages like Greek, Italian, Albanian are a plus
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset
