Learning & Development Manager

ISS is looking for an engaging and dynamic Learning & Development Manager to support a high-profile client site in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role in building a best-in-class training academy, driving engagement and capability across a large workplace team.
You’ll be at the heart of our Placemakers journey, delivering impactful learning initiatives, embedding service excellence, and ensuring our people have the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding workplace experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead the delivery of engaging learning and development programmes across the account
• Manage and continuously improve the induction programme for all Placemakers
• Roll out and embed the Placemakers Pathway learning journey
• Deliver high-energy training sessions, workshops and Train-the-Trainer programmes
• Build and develop a service culture community across the account
• Identify skills gaps and future capability needs within the workforce
• Develop and contribute to the annual learning plan aligned to contract priorities
• Oversee and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking training and compliance
• Measure and evaluate training impact, engagement and effectiveness
• Work closely with operational leaders, People & Culture teams and account leadership
• Promote a safety-first, inclusive and high-performing culture
What We’re Looking For
• A confident and engaging trainer, facilitator and presenter
• Strong knowledge of modern L&D trends and best practices
• Proven ability to inspire, influence and engage learners at all levels
• Experience managing training programmes or learning academies
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and project management capability
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training platforms
• A proactive mindset with the ability to drive new initiatives and make things happen
