About the Role
We’re searching for an L&D Specialist to join a private organisation dedicated to empowering their next generation of leaders. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in their flagship program - a highly personalised learning and development journey supporting around 50 participants (ages 18–30) as they navigate diverse career paths through the organisation.
As L&D Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of redefining and institutionalising a comprehensive curriculum that enables young adults to flourish, personally and professionally. You’ll work in a lean, high-performing team that values academic rigour, innovation, and a genuine passion for lifelong learning.

What You’ll Do
- Lead curriculum definition: Research, design, and institutionalise a comprehensive L&D curriculum tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of c50 participants with highly diverse career trajectories.
- Collaborate on the gap year program: Work closely with the program manager to define and implement the curriculum for the 9-month workplace programme.
- Integrate digital L&D: Research and embed new learning technologies (including AI) to ensure the curriculum remains innovative and future-focused.
- Coordinate team activities: Take ownership of team meeting coordination and related administrative tasks to support smooth program delivery.
- Support participant journeys: Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the participant experience
Who You Are
- Early-career L&D professional: You bring 1–2 years’ experience in learning & development or consultancy, ideally with exposure to curriculum design or research-heavy projects.
- Fluent in English & Dutch is essential
- Strong academic background
- Research-driven and analytical: You thrive on deep research, critical analysis, and translating insights into practical, impactful learning solutions.
- Passionate about L&D: You’re energised by the opportunity to shape learning journeys and make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
- Organised and proactive: You take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and ensure team activities run smoothly.
- Collaborative mindset: You enjoy working in a close-knit, high-trust team and are comfortable operating in a hybrid environment.
Location & Logistics
- Location: Amsterdam (hybrid model)
- Travel: Minimal (maximum 5 times per year for team off-sites)
- Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Compensation: €55000 - €63000 plus benefits.
