HRLife is working with a highly successful, people centric SME to hire a Learning and Development Manager who can shape, develop and influence the learning agenda in partnership with the business.
With a recently appointed HR Director in place, this is a brilliant time to join. You’ll work closely with them to elevate the L&D offering and play a key role in supporting the organisation through its next phase of growth and evolution.
This is a high-profile, business-critical role with real scope to make your mark. You’ll lead and develop a team, bringing your expertise in what great Learning & Development looks like in practice. Operating as a trusted partner to the business, you’ll design and drive impactful programmes that ensure people have the skills, confidence and capability to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design, delivery, and management of L&D initiatives and development frameworks
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify skills gaps at individual, team and organisation level
- Identify areas of added value where the L&D agenda can further support the business objectives
- Leverage learning technologies
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth across the business
- Design and oversee high-impact learning programs, including leadership development, technical training, and soft skills
They’re looking for an engaging L&D Manager with experience working with a fee-earning population. Someone commercially astute, credible with senior stakeholders and comfortable operating in a highly collaborative environment. You’ll naturally build strong relationships and embed yourself in the business, balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery and team leadership.
Your profile will include:
- Previous experience of leading an L&D team in a professional services / fee-earning environment
- Strong design and delivery capability across a range of learning interventions
- Confident leadership style with the ability to develop others and influence senior stakeholders
- A collaborative working style, with the confidence to influence, challenge and build trusted relationships across all levels
- Experience delivering measurable impact and leading people through change
- Experience supporting global learning delivery or coordinating programmes across multiple regions is advantageous
- High emotional intelligence
This role will be hybrid working, 2/3 days in their Oxfordshire office.
Salary c£70k plus bonus.
