Our client is a U.S.-based EdTech and extracurricular programs company, operating in more than 15 states across the United States and experiencing rapid growth within the education ecosystem. As part of this expansion, they are currently strengthening their academic and training structure to support scale and long-term impact.
They are seeking a Curriculum Developer with a strong pedagogical foundation, strategic thinking, and a high level of organization to lead the development, improvement, and standardization of curricular and training materials. This role is key to ensuring high-quality learning experiences aligned with educational standards and designed to drive strong engagement from both students and instructors.
What will you do in this position?
- Evaluate and understand the current state of more than 45 educational programs to identify opportunities for improvement, growth, and curricular updates.
- Design, develop, and optimize high-quality educational materials, including lessons, unit plans, pre- and post-assessments, performance indicators, instructional guides, and tutorial videos.
- Ensure all content is aligned with educational standards, learning objectives, student engagement levels, and instructor training needs.
- Organize, document, and maintain curricular materials within a structured content management system using Google Drive and Smartsheet.
- Integrate ongoing feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Design and support the delivery of Professional Development (PD) materials and curriculum trainings to strengthen the national instructor network.
- In collaboration with the Program Success team, define program-specific performance indicators to measure proper implementation and success at each site.
- Contribute to standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement of the overall educational experience.
What should you have prior to joining?
- Professional background in Education or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or similar roles.
- A genuine passion for education and for creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, with strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and a systems mindset to structure content in a clear and scalable way.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace is required.
