Serendib Training & Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Learning & Development Strategy Leader (consultant, senior L&D manager, or HR transformation expert) to facilitate a 2-day advanced-level workshop in Doha, Qatar. This is a freelance opportunity.

Ideal Profile
We are looking for a seasoned L&D professional, strategist, or advisor with a proven track record of leading Learning & Development transformation across large organisations and government-linked entities in the Middle East and internationally.
The ideal expert must have:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or Talent Strategy
- Held leadership roles in L&D or HR transformation (e.g., Head of L&D, Director of Talent Development, Group OD Lead)
- Designed and implemented enterprise-wide L&D strategies that drove measurable improvements in employee performance, leadership pipeline, and business outcomes
- Hands-on experience working across diverse sectors (e.g., banking, healthcare, energy, government, telecom) in both multinational and regional/GCC-based organisations
- In-depth knowledge of nationalisation initiatives (e.g., Qatarisation, Emiratisation, Saudisation, Omanisation, etc.), and how to build L&D strategies that support localisation, workforce upskilling, and national capability building
- Strong command of frameworks such as L&D diagnostics, ROI/ROE models, capability gap analysis, strategic workforce planning, and digital transformation in L&D
- Ability to engage, challenge, and consult senior HR leaders, L&D managers, and C-suite executives with credibility and impact
- A highly practical, facilitative approach with experience leading interactive, case-based, and simulation-driven workshops
Preferred Credentials (Updated)
- Leadership experience in enterprise-level L&D transformation projects
- Demonstrated multi-country and cross-sectoral L&D strategy exposure, particularly in GCC, MENA, and/or global Fortune 500 settings
- Recognised certifications in L&D, HR, or OD (such as CIPD Chartered Fellow, SHRM-SCP, CPHR, ATD Master Trainer or Strategist)
- Academic/ Professional qualifications in HR, Education, Organisational Psychology, Business, or related fields
