attica department stores is currently in search of a dynamic Learning & Development Specialist for our central offices in Athens, to to join our HR Department and enhance its growth in line with our strategic vision.

Role Purpose
As a Learning & Development Specialist you will be responsible for all learning & talent management initiatives in our organization. You will work closely with the HR Director & line managers to deliver training programs for new and existing employees based on the needs of the organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Organize and deliver training sessions for various roles in the company.
- Participate in the design of training programs by editing, developing, updating and maintaining training materials and tools.
- Evaluate employees’ skills and performance quality in coordination with respective managers.
- Identify areas in employees’ skills that require improvement.
- Ensure that new staff members receive appropriate introductory training.
- Plan annual refresher courses for all staff members.
- Communicate with Vendors / Fashion Partners / partners from Fashion Industry / external stakeholders / partners/brands around Europe concerning the training material of upcoming collections / fashion trends and coordinate their visits, or other trainings.
- Work closely with the L&D team and the HR Department to ensure alignment and consistency across all learning initiatives.
- Proactively research solutions and leading practices to enhance learning and development practices.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required
- Relevant studies with a specialization in Human Resources Management.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the field of Learning & Development.
- Solid understanding of talent management theory and practice.
- Hands-on experience in designing and delivering training programs, using various training techniques and evaluation methods.
- Proven experience in field trainings / on-the-job trainings in stores, preferably within a retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications as well as PowerPoint or other presentation tools.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
