Team
As our new Manager of Learning and Development, you will join a People team consisting of +20 colleagues covering the entire employee lifecycle to deliver our aspiration to reach EUR 100bn through Talented people.
Role
The Manager of Learning and Development will shape and implement our L&D strategy, collaborating closely with senior leadership and internal / external teams to deliver these programs. This role will focus on designing high-quality learning programs, establishing and managing performance metrics, and maximizing the return on our L&D investment.
You will work with driving the conceptualization of business-focused development requests into engaging learning and development activities and offerings, covering different pillars of our learning and development agenda.
This could be within DE&I, Leadership Enablement, culture driving activities, bringing world class knowledge to our global organization through CIP Academy and making sure our onboarding experience will be best in class.
Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:
L&D Strategy:
- Set a forward-thinking, results-focused L&D strategy, framework with learning journeys to deliver our 2030 growth aspiration with an increasingly global presence, creating a culture of continuous learning.
Key learning program design and delivery:
- Ensure continuous development of our keystone programs (CIP onboarding, Ignite, Grow), CIP Academy.
- Ensuring the development, delivery and improvement, and delivery of our leadership conferences and structured learning programs.
- Identify, shape and deliver other business / functional L&D needs /request into engaging and tangible learning and development concepts and activities.
Stakeholder engagement:
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure learning initiatives support organizational goals, address skill gaps, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging communication about our People and Culture initiatives to support knowledge sharing and general communication.
Budget and Resource management:
- Oversee and optimize the L&D budget, balancing cost efficiency with program quality to ensure a strong return on investment.
Performance metrics and KPIs:
- Establish and manage clear L&D KPIs to assess program effectiveness, engagement, and impact. Use data insights to continuously monitor and optimize program outcomes to deliver tangible business value.
You
We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative hands-on leader to join our team to develop and deliver this exciting L&D agenda with a minimum of 6 years of relevant full-time experience. You could come from a L&D role, broader People & Culture role, or come from a consultancy focusing on People & Culture and/or L&D where you developed and implemented a broad range of learning and development activities from concept to facilitation.
Moreover, you have a relevant bachelor's degree within Business, Human Resources, Economics, Finance, or other related fields. Master’s degree or professional certifications in HR or L&D preferred.
We look for the following in a candidate:
- Program/Project Management: Comprehensive organizational and project management skills to deliver multiple programs, deadlines, and external delivery teams, ensuring timely and high-quality execution in a fast-paced environment across a wide range of work streams/projects with constantly shifting priorities.
- Communication & Facilitation skills: Clear, engaging communicator – commanding large groups of audience.
- Experience facilitating training programmes e.g., focusing on self-leadership and leadership transitions.
- Comfortable using PowerPoint for CXO level presentations.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Strategic & Analytical thinking: Ability to assess complex needs, analyze data, and make informed, strategic decisions to ensure L&D outcomes.
- Proficiency in setting and analyzing KPIs, tracking learning outcomes, and leveraging data insights for continuous improvement.
- Adept in budgeting, managing financial resources, and optimizing costs to deliver effective and efficient L&D programs.
- Comfortable using Excel for basic analyses e.g., pivot tables.
- Driven: Ambitious, resilient, service minded and positive pragmatic attitude with a great desire to work in a growing international organization.
- Motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic team player who is proactive and resourceful.
- Flexibility to adapt strategies and programs to changing business needs, with a proactive approach to delivering new, innovative learning solutions.
- Hands-on leader: Bias on delivering impact and content, not just process management.
- Comfortable rolling up the sleeves to get things done and lead content problem-solving from the front, working with lean, high impact teams.
