Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer Developer II to develop impactful training solutions that drive end-user adoption, with a primary focus on the finance workstream.
This role is ideal for a learning professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a solid background in adult learning, ERP systems training, and curriculum development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating with Change Specialists and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assess training needs
- Designing learning objectives, storyboards, and training materials aligned with business goals
- Creating training content for various formats (eLearning, ILT, VILT, on-the-job) using the ADDIE framework
- Managing content reviews and development timelines in coordination with SMEs and project leads
- Facilitating Train-the-Trainer sessions and providing delivery support
- Conducting quality reviews and updating content based on pilot feedback
- Identifying and mitigating training risks and constraints
- Supporting knowledge transfer and sustainment efforts within the client’s learning organization
What You Bring
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing training materials in corporate environments
- Experience creating finance-focused learning content
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (especially ADDIE) and adult learning principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging diverse audiences
- Excellent collaboration skills, especially working cross-functionally with change teams and SMEs
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities
- Self-starter with a proactive, agile mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience working on ERP or large-scale transformation projects
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (Finance Modules), SAP, or Maximo
- Experience with tools such as:
- Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise)
- Vyond, Camtasia, ClipChamp
- MS PowerPoint, Word
