The Role
As the firm’s Learning & Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the firm’s learning culture. Responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programmes across all practice areas and business services functions
- Partnering with Partners and senior leaders to identify skills gaps and implement tailored development initiatives
- Creating and maintaining competency frameworks and career pathways
- Managing professional skills training for solicitors, trainees, and support staff
- Overseeing external training providers and ensuring compliance with SRA and regulatory requirements
About You
- Proven experience within a law firm or legal environment is essential
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering legal and professional development programmes
- Strong understanding of SRA and CPD compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to influence at all levels
