Are you passionate about helping children succeed?
We are looking for patient, caring, and motivated tutors to join our growing team at Al-Hidaaya Academy. This is a remote position where you will work with elementary students (K-4 / K-5) to improve their reading, writing, and math skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive way.
Responsibilities
- Teach basic English reading and writing (phonics, spelling, vocabulary, comprehension).
- Teach math fundamentals (numbers, addition, subtraction, early problem-solving).
- Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to young learners.
- Follow a simple curriculum or learning plan (provided by us).
- Communicate regularly with parents and/or our admin team about student progress.
Qualifications
- No teaching certificate required – just a strong understanding of K-4 / K-5 reading and math.
- Experience with kids (parenting, babysitting, tutoring, volunteering, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Must be patient, encouraging, and enjoy working with children.
- Reliable internet and a quiet teaching space at home.
