The Group Digital Learning Team Leader provides leadership, mentoring and direction for all activities within the Content Development Center (CDC) team. The individual should be a skilled leader of others to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and on time while maintaining and driving high team engagement. This role is also responsible for the management of key stakeholders and the development of learning initiatives across Rentokil Initial, the Group Digital Learning Manager should therefore have a strong understanding of Instructional Design best practices.
Specific Job Duties:
▪ Directs, plans and manages the Content Development Center (CDC), which consists of 5 staff
▪ Ensures team operating standards and essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of digital learning
▪ Review all work produced by the CDC to maintain a high standard of online learning produced
▪ Continuously improving quality control procedures to maintain a high standard of online learning produced by the CDC
▪ Maintain complex U+ course pipeline, and status report and be comfortable in communicating and managing details with senior stakeholders up to and including MD level
▪ Business partners with the regional learning and development leads and HRDs to understand learning needs and offer solutions as applicable
▪ Working on instructional design, building scripts and designing documents based on business requirements and needs
▪ Familiarity with Cornerstone OnDemand
▪ Familiarity with GoMo, Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud
Skills and Experience
● At least 5 years’ experience in a high performing digital learning team that is seen as leading edge; can personally demonstrate a track record of deliverables that have made a significant impact on the business.
● Experience in designing and implementing a global LMS solution successfully for a medium to large organisation
● Extensive experience in design and delivery of digital training and development activities.
● Experience of training needs analysis and expertise in the diagnosis and design of digital learning and development interventions.
● Experience leading a team.
● Has worked in a highly matrixed international business with a strong requirement to collaborate and influence extensively to get things done.
● Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail. Able to plan and execute multiple initiatives and manage multiple projects at the same time. Able to plan and manage budgets in detail.
