For over 26 years, Family Resiliency Programs (FRP) has supported more than 5,000 NYC public school parents and staff with research-validated social-emotional learning (SEL), mindfulness, and stress management programs. We believe that when parents and caregivers are supported, children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
We are now scaling our impact and seeking an experienced Education Partnerships Manager to grow our presence in schools, districts, and community-based organizations.
Role Overview
The Education Partnerships Manager will lead outreach to school administrators, parent coordinators, nonprofit leaders, and/or companies presently offering SEL programs to students,building relationships that result in new program partnerships. This person will translate FRP’s mission into the language of school budgets, grants, and district initiatives, ensuring our programs become embedded in the communities that need them most.
This is a part-time, flexible role with a base hourly rate plus commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with school administrators, DOE officials, nonprofit leaders,and/or companies presently offering SEL programs to students.
- Secure new contracts for FRP’s programs, including:
- Parent Resiliency Course (6-session program for parents).
- Train-the-Trainer Program (certifying staff to deliver FRP in schools/organizations).
- Navigate DOE procurement processes and help schools access funding streams (Title I, SEL, parent engagement budgets, grants).
- Provide regular feedback to leadership on market trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in education partnerships, sales, or nonprofit program development.
- Existing relationships with NYC DOE administrators, Title I schools, family-serving nonprofits and/or companies presently offering SEL programs to students strongly preferred.
- Understanding of school procurement processes, funding cycles, and grant alignment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to engage principals, superintendents, and nonprofit directors.
- Passion for social-emotional learning, parent engagement, and family well-being.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and meet partnership goals.
