Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Organisational Development Manager within the People, Safety and Culture Directorate based between Ayrshire Central and Crosshouse Hospitals.
What You Will Do
NHS Ayrshire & Arran is looking for a forward-thinking innovative person with the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a team to lead and implement learning and organisational development interventions. The candidate will have a pivotal role with experience and a proven track record in developing leaders, managers and teams ensuring organisational development initiatives are integrated and support the achievement of the organisation’s corporate expectations in accordance with our vision and values.
The duties are varied, stimulating and rewarding through the design and facilitation of bespoke organisational development initiatives to drive cultural change using experience gained from managing complex projects and progressing those to achieve a successful conclusion.
This post will lead and oversee the management of the training and education centres and provide and deliver specialist learning and organisational development interventions which supports the delivery of our People Strategy through team development, change management, culture, leadership & management development well as professional coaching across NHS A&A and the three H&SCPs.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
The successful candidate will be confident and engaging, with a strong customer focus and a desire to work in partnership with internal stakeholders and the wider Organisation and Human Resource Development function in the delivery of both face to face and online learning provision.
The role requires someone who is highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven organisational development experience and in-depth knowledge and experience of change management.
Applicants should be educated to Masters level or have equivalent knowledge and experience. Demonstrable experience of learning and organisational development working at a senior level to drive and support organisational change as well as team and individual development. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development or membership of an equivalent professional body is desirable.

Hours
37 per week.
The department of O&HRD is currently under review therefore there may be changes to the reporting structure. The shift pattern for this post is 09:00 17:00 hrs (Monday to Thursday) and 09:00 16:30 (Friday) based between Ayrshire Central Hospital and University Hospital Crosshouse.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role to travel between both sites.
