Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
L&D Specialist to be responsible for assessing organizational learning needs and designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs to enhance employee performance and development. This role supports both individual growth and business goals by fostering a culture of continuous learning and upskilling within the organization
What Will You Do?
Development Needs and Career Paths- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, job analysis, contribution discussions and collaboration with Managers and employees.
- Gain insight into skill gaps and learning requirements across departments and the organisation as a whole.
- Work closely with HR and department heads to align learning initiatives with business strategy.
- Work with HRBP’s and line managers to discuss Individual development plans and create career paths through skills assessment.
Training Program Design- Create, design and develop training programs where required including detailed plans, objectives, content, timelines, and delivery methods including e-learning and workshops)
- Keep up to date with market trends and research into methods of learning and developing in order to maximise any return on investment.
Training Delivery- Facilitation of in-person or virtual sessions, working with external partners where required for specialist skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that the levy is utilised to its capacity to drive investment into our people.
Learning Management System- Create and implement a Learning Management System (LMS) working closely with Education and the E-learning hub to manage and track learning activities.
- Provide regular data on participation, completion rates and learner progress.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development- Measure the health of all learning and development methods through the timely production and analysis of post-training feedback, performance improvement metrics, and ROI analysis and associated recommendations.
Compliance and Certification Tracking- Ensuring mandatory training completion and certification renewals.
Sustainability- Ensure all duties carried out and actions completed in every aspect of your role, contribute to the short and long-term Sustainability Goals set-forth by the ELEMIS - Climate, Biodiversity & People Pillars
The Perfect Candidate
- A track record of success in senior level L&D positions with leadership responsibilities on a fast paced consumer or retail facing business.
- An engaging, inspiring and motivational individual with strong relationship building skills
- A background within an international, operational, retail environment would be beneficial
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment - juggling multiple responsibilities and meeting the needs and demands of numerous stakeholders
- Data driven and accountable; measuring success through KPIs and project goals
- High degree of emotional intelligence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strategic planning and implementation of L&D programmes across multiple markets
- Expertise in design, learning principles and training methodologies
- Skilled in creating blended learning programmes (digital, in-person, on the job)
- Strong ability to align L&D strategies with commercial objectives and brand goals.
- Proven success in influencing stakeholders and presenting to senior leadership.
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience coaching senior leaders and supporting performance development.
- Ability to measure ROI and effectiveness of L&D initiatives with data and analytics.
