Position Overview
The Learning & Development Facilitator is responsible for training registered nurses to conduct travel health consultations. These consultations provide international travelers with essential health advice and safety information. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, engaging training that blends coaching and facilitation to support skill development and confidence building. The Facilitator collaborates with both the Training and Clinical Operations teams to ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate new RN consultations to help build proficiency and confidence.
- Facilitate virtual training sessions for new hires and existing clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Manage training data within the internal Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, including
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching and actionable feedback.
- Track progress and generate performance reports for clinical trainees.
- Identify common areas of struggle and recommend training enhancements.
- Identify training gaps and recommend improvements to the overall learning experience.
- Observe top-performing nurses to document and share best practices in storytelling and objection handling.
- Support employee retention by encouraging trainees, promoting vaccine education, and highlighting strengths of the role.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in training and development, clinical practice, or sales
- Experience leading and facilitating virtual training (individual and group settings)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across various departments
- Ability to multi-task, think critically, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Confident and engaging presentation style
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Based at the Corporate office in Phoenix, AZ
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Capability to work independently in an office environment
- Experience conducting training needs assessments
