Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Learning and Development Leader to drive the design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning experiences that support business goals and employee growth. This role will champion adult learning best practices, build scalable learning strategies, and deliver measurable outcomes through strong technical and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Design
- Lead the development and execution of a company-wide Learning & Development strategy aligned with organizational priorities, values, and employee growth objectives
- Create impactful blended learning programs grounded in adult learning principles, including experiential, collaborative, and on-demand methods
- Oversee curriculum design for leadership, technical, and soft skills across all levels—frontline staff, managers, and senior leaders
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to assess learning needs, identify capability gaps, and prioritize development initiatives
Learning Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate engaging, results-driven learning experiences through both virtual and in-person formats
- Mentor and guide internal facilitators to ensure consistent delivery quality and instructional excellence
- Enhance learning engagement through the use of modern tools like e-learning, simulations, microlearning, and interactive platforms
Data, Evaluation & Reporting
- Define clear learning KPIs and implement measurement systems to track training effectiveness, knowledge retention, and organizational impact
- Use data from LMS, HRIS, and survey tools to generate insights and guide continuous improvement in learning programs
- Develop executive-ready reports to communicate progress, outcomes, and areas of opportunity across the learning function
Technology & Systems Management
- Administer and optimize LMS and digital learning systems to ensure seamless user experiences and high functionality
- Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams to integrate systems, streamline data flow, and enhance reporting capabilities
- Stay informed about evolving L&D technologies, including AI-powered learning tools and virtual engagement platforms
Team Leadership & Organizational Collaboration
- Lead and develop a high-performing L&D team, including instructional designers, facilitators, and program managers
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with HR, Operations, and business units to embed learning into core talent practices (e.g., onboarding, performance management, succession planning)
- Champion a company-wide culture of learning, development, and knowledge-sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Advanced knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE), and learning evaluation models (e.g., Kirkpatrick)
- Hands-on experience with LMS platforms such as Workday Learning, Cornerstone, or similar systems
- Strong analytical capabilities; proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to build dashboards and performance metrics
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and organizational change skills
- Experience in developing leadership development programs or career pathing frameworks is a strong plus
