THE JOB: At Caratograph, we believe that hiring and onboarding exceptional talent is the foundation of our success and we’re proud of our best-in-class recruiting process. We are looking for a Talent Operations Specialist to own the new hire journey all the way from the first touch during recruiting through to their ramp and learning process during onboarding. This position ensures a seamless experience for candidates and new hires. We have great processes in place already so now we’re looking for someone to continue our successes while taking us to the next level.
As a Talent Operations Specialist, you will oversee the end-to-end recruiting and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless candidate and new hire experience. This position will often be the first Cartograph face a candidate speaks to so championing our culture and ensuring a positive candidate experience with timely communications is crucial. The recruiting process will include ownership areas such as: managing job postings, sourcing, interviews, offer letters, and managing our ATS system, while the onboarding process will own areas such as: new hire paperwork, employee set up, and the Onboarding Training Program. Additionally, this position also owns Cartograph’s company-wide training program because we believe learning should never stop. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders in multiple departments to understand the various positions within Cartograph and will have heavy lean in on driving communications for staffing needs.
WHO ARE YOU? We are looking for individuals with:
- 2+ years of proven professional experience as a recruiter- including interview best practices and knowledge of employment laws and regulations as it relates to recruiting
- 2+ years of proven professional experience in learning and development with a focus on content delivery
- You’re a relationship builder! You know how to create a comfortable environment in order to get to the root of a candidate’s skillset and welcome new hires
- Strong verbal/written communication and soft skills required - we are a collaborative team, and this position works with stakeholders across many departments
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive accountability in others is a MUST!
- You have experience running the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring alignment with the organization's values and needs
- Direct experience managing an applicant tracking system. Experience with ADP Recruiter is a strong bonus!
- You love promoting learning and knowledge building! You like to facilitate new employee onboarding trainings for new hires along with creating and delivering targeted trainings for our teams
- Proven successful experience cold candidate sourcing and Boolean searching
- Motivation, self-discipline, and dependability – we give our team significant autonomy and responsibility, so proven experience in completing projects independently is a must!
- Passion for life-long learning and problem solving – we live on the cutting edge of eCommerce innovation, and often must self-teach on new topics
- Collaborative and inclusive team player - you will be part of a small but mighty team that regularly collaborates with top leadership
- 4-year college degree preferred
