THE ROLE
Harris Corrections is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Lead to join our dynamic team. The Training Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients and teams receive comprehensive training and support to maximize the utilization of our software solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing training programs, managing training resources, and providing ongoing support to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement training programs that align with the organization's objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of different departments
- Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs, collecting data and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Analyze training needs and recommend appropriate computer-based learning and virtual training solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Stay up to date with the latest training trends, technologies and with changes in laws and regulations, to ensure that their training programs remain effective, relevant & compliant.
- Mentor training staff to improve their performance and ensure their continuous professional development, inc. knowledge of computer-based learning and virtual tools.
- Develop and manage budgets for training programs, using financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that training programs are cost-effective.
- Ensure that training programs comply with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Train staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to improve their performance and ensure their continuous professional development.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and monitor vendor performance to ensure that training programs are delivered to a high standard.
- Implement Train the Trainer methodology to train and develop internal trainers who can deliver high-quality training programs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a training leadership role, designing training programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience using learning management systems, computer-based learning, instructional design and virtual training tools to deliver training programs.
- Excellent customer focus and a track record of delivering high-quality customer training programs that meet the needs of diverse customer segments.
- Knowledge of Train the Trainer (T3) Methodology.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player; flexible
- Strong project management and organizational skills; experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of jail management technology solution would be an asset.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
