We have established a central training function for Consulting to ensure every colleague has the skills, confidence and support they need from joining the firm through to ongoing CPD.

To make this happen, we’re looking for an experienced Consulting Trainer who understands how professional services works and can translate technical subject matter into clear, engaging learning content. While there will be some training delivery, this is not primarily a frontline training role. The main focus will be coordinating and managing the training programme, creating and enhancing technical training materials, and working closely with specialist contributors across the business who can bring real-world examples and current client insight.

The role will support our Risk and Forensic business solutions, where the portfolio has relatively limited face-to-face or live delivery. You’ll play a key part in building a consistent, high-quality learning experience across Consulting by applying strong learning and development expertise, effective programme coordination and a continuous improvement mindset.

You’ll make an impact by

Coordinating, managing and improving the technical training programme for Risk and Forensic business solutions, ensuring learning content remains current, relevant and engaging
Creating and maintaining high quality technical training content, including digital learning resources, practical exercises, scenarios and supporting materials
Delivering selected training sessions where appropriate, while keeping the emphasis on programme coordination, content quality and learning improvement
Working with subject matter experts and experienced colleagues who act as guest speakers, coordinating their contributions, briefing them clearly and ensuring consistency of message
Evaluating training effectiveness and using feedback, learner insight and L&D best practice to improve the quality, consistency and impact of the programme
Building and maintaining a library of reusable learning content that supports Consulting and strengthens the overall training programme

Strong evidence of previous experience coordinating, managing and creating technical training content, ideally within a professional services or technical business environment.

Able to explain complex technical topics simply and clearly, and translate specialist knowledge into accessible learning content.
Strong communication and people skills.
Organised, reliable, and able to manage your own workload and priorities.
