Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document and Training Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and managing various documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism. This role requires excellent communication skills and proficiency in document processing tools. The Document Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our documentation processes and supporting effective communication across departments.

Duties

Proofread and edit a wide range of documents to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards
Conduct research to gather relevant information for document creation and updates
Utilize Visio and other diagramming tools to develop visual representations of processes or data flows
Perform word processing tasks, including formatting, compiling, and organizing documents using standard software applications
Collaborate with team members to clarify document requirements and incorporate feedback effectively
Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
Ensure all documentation complies with established quality and confidentiality standards
Assist in the development of templates and standardized document formats to streamline workflows

Experience

Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or document management roles preferred
Familiarity with research methods and information sourcing techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Word processing applications is required; experience with Visio is a plus
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Prior experience working in a professional office environment is desirable but not mandatory
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $41,629.74-$77,916.26 per year
