E-Learning Developer / Project Coordinator

Pertinent Details: Direct Hire opportunity with a growing company, specializing in on-line safety and compliance training. Role is 100% remote, but is full time in nature. This role will have the spectacular opportunity for progressive career advancement into a Manager role for the right person.

Compensation: $80-120K

Location: Austin, Texas - Preferably located in Austin, Texas, but will accept applicants from Texas, Tennessee and Florida.

Recruitment/Interview Process: will consist of a phone screen interview with the Canadian Recruiter Affiliate, and then a virtual interview with the Hiring Employer. You must have a portfolio demonstrating personalized work/projects that will showcase abilities, depth, range, and quality.

Job Description:

The E-Learning Project Coordinator will own the full product development lifecycle for the online and instructor-led training and certification products.

This is a hands-on role spanning product research, instructional design, course writing, online and instructor-led course development, multilingual adaptations, LearnDash & WooCommerce integrations, and quality control.

The Project Coordinator will manage internal and external resources, drive delivery timelines, and is expected to fill execution gaps directly to keep products on schedule.

Duties to include the following, but not limited to:

Create, manage, and coordinate detailed project plans, schedules, task assignments, and resource allocations across all product development initiatives.
Ensure exceptional accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all product documentation, course materials, and related resources.
Perform rigorous quality assurance checks throughout the entire development lifecycle, promptly identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
Resource Management
Define roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and deadlines for internal and external resources, including instructional designers, subject matter experts, translators, voiceover artists, developers, and graphic designers.
Actively manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure timely and high-quality product completion. Resource management and execution—the ability to get things delivered on committed dates—is the single most critical competency for this role.
Product Planning
Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to clearly identify customer needs, market opportunities, and potential new product offerings.
Document detailed product objectives, compliance standards, learning outcomes, and project scope.
Develop thorough project planning documents that outline timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
Course Writing
Write comprehensive course outlines, scripts, learning objectives, interactive scenarios, quizzes, assessments, and final exams for training products.
Collaborate with internal and external resources such as subject matter experts and external instructional designers to ensure content accuracy, instructional quality, and regulatory compliance.
Manage structured review processes, revisions, and approvals.
Training Course and Materials Development
Actively participate in the development of interactive online courses, incorporating multimedia elements such as videos, audio narration, interactive scenarios, and quizzes.
Procure, allocate, and manage external and internal resources to develop online course content and instructor-led training materials.
Develop training materials content for instructor packages.
Product Integration
Integrate LearnDash courses, modules, quizzes, and certificates.
Integrate WooCommerce Products for online courses.
Integrate WooCommerce Products for instructor packages.
Procure, allocate, and manage external and internal resources to integrate LearnDash courses, online course products, and instructor packages.
Multilingual Product Development
Coordinate translation and localization projects for both online courses and instructor materials, managing translators, editors, and reviewers.
Ensure multilingual products maintain instructional integrity, compliance accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
Conduct quality assurance reviews and manage revisions as necessary.
Product Updates
Plan, schedule, and coordinate regular product updates to maintain compliance, relevance, and instructional quality.
Continuously monitor product performance, collect and analyze customer feedback, identify areas for improvement, and coordinate necessary product enhancements.

Qualifications:

A strong background in instructional design and e-learning development is required.
Prior experience in health & safety compliance specific industry is not required, but much preferred.
Mandatory two (2) years experience utilizing Articulate Storyline (a definitive must)
Minimum of three (3) years experience in project / product management with a demonstrated ability to coordinate timelines, resources and deliverables across multiple initiatives simultaneously
Familiarity with LearnDash and WooCommerce, or demonstrated ability to learn new technical platforms quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
