Symetra is seeking a HR Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team!

About the role

In this role, you’ll play a key role in helping teams grow by finding and hiring great talent. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs, guide them through the hiring process, and ensure a smooth experience for candidates. Whether you come from a recruiting background, HR or bring transferable skills in communication, coordination, or customer service, this role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact.

What you will do

Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
Manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and interviewing to offer and onboarding.
Guide managers through the interview process and help them identify the best talent.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
Other duties and projects as requested.

Compensation

Salary Range: $72,700 - $121,100 plus eligibility for annual bonus program

Who You Are

3-5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or transferable experience from a related field.
Ability to understand client needs and apply strategic, tailored recommendations that drive results.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain structure in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, leverage networks, and source top talent or resources effectively.
Openness to feedback and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work, ensuring quality and consistency.
High School Diploma required.
