WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will work alongside the People Experience Senior Manager to support the delivery of the L&D strategy and facilitate training that builds skills and capabilities to ensure we can achieve our ambitions for growth and development.
As an L&D expert you will play a pivotal role in enabling continuous growth and development of our employees. You will be responsible for planning, designing and delivering high quality development programmes and solutions that build colleague, leader, team and business capability. With support from the People Experience Senior Manager you will partner with all global business areas in relation to L&D needs for individuals, teams and line managers. You will support the design and delivery of a comprehensive, accessible, and inclusive L&D offering, that will be a mix of in-house, e-learning and external providers. You will report into the People Experience Senior Manager and will be involved in shaping the future of talent and learning, which is a key strategic focus for the HR team at Peninsula.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support with the design and implementation of management development programs, tools, frameworks and processes
- To work closely with the People Experience Senior Manager to address training needs and support content development of core programmes
- Become the L&D platform superuser (Vinci Works) and support end to end management of the platform.
- Sourcing and curation of e-learning content that learners can access on demand, ensuring this is high quality and relevant for employees
- Work with internal subject matter experts to support the curation of learning content, ensuring this is engaging and relevant
- Organise, and oversee the delivery of new joiner induction programmes
- Monitor compliance and mandatory training course completion, escalating non completion as appropriate
- Engagement with and oversight of external training suppliers
- Management and maintenance of administrative records regarding external providers, including processing of invoices and retaining contractual documentation
- Management of study agreement process, including processing of study agreement letters and monitoring of policy adherence
- Develop robust course feedback mechanisms with a focus on analysing the impact of learning on individual and team performance, and organisational outcomes.
- Lead on the L&D metrics, reporting and communications
- Delivery of selected programmes and sessions, either virtually or face to face
- Build and manage relationships across the global network with all colleagues and key stakeholders to support learning needs
- Regularly review learning offering and content to ensure continuous improvement and reflect changing priorities and employee feedback
- Recommend training providers who have expertise that meet particular learning needs
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in L&D and incorporate innovative practices into our learning offering
- To create and maintain key documents, frameworks, materials including our intranet site, as required.
- Use of e-learning tools and other digital technology to assist the design and delivery of innovative training resources.
- Serve as the first point of contact for L&D related enquiries from the business – this includes partnering with other HR team members and managing the L&D inbox.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Candidates must have 3-5 years previous L&D experience and a track record of working in fast paced environments to support in the design and delivery of successful development programmes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Candidates should have experience in delivering face to face training as well as curating engaging online content
- Proficient in the use of digital learning technologies and platforms
- Candidates need to be client focused and demonstrate understanding of the business when creating content
- A good understanding of current learning trends and training legislative requirements
- Ability to multi-task across various projects with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to build relationships at all levels and manage expectations with key stakeholders
