Purpose:
To develop, coordinate, execute, maintain and develop the learning and development programme and the EFS specialist training center and EFS institute.
Responsibilities:
•Create and maintain a comprehensive L&D programme in coordination with HR.
• Create and update effective materials and presentations for internal training, ensuring that data is
evidence based and current.
• Manage and develop the production of published materials to support learning.
• Coordinate e- learning with SME and IT/ Technology Departments.
• Work closely with the operational and HR departments to ensure that training content addresses
current processes, issues and skills gaps within the EFS staff.
• Manage the employee induction programme, working closely with human resources regarding all
new starters to the organisation
• Ensure all training records submitted are complete and accurate.
• Work closely with the operational department to create a quarterly training schedule.
• Use the L&D requirements from the annual performance evaluation to create an annual training
schedule.
• Liaise with third party suppliers and external training centre’s as and when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with the L&D policy and procedure.
• Initiate and develop appropriate L&D interventions, based on primary research and empirical data.
• Oversee management and leadership development.
• Manage and deliver high quality L&D courses.
• Coordinate with sr. operations management to hold seminars and workshops.
• Foster a working environment that encourages an L&D culture.
• Manage and ensure the on-going evaluation of all L&D activities and compile into reports.
• Create and update course catalogues and relay to employees on a quarterly basis .
• Draft, publish and distribute evaluation feedback surveys for courses. Create statistical
information and reports on training feedback.
• Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information
Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and
regulations of the local labour law.
Qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor's of business administration or human resources.
• Training certificate is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years training experience, preferably in a maintenance or engineering company.
