Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Part-Time Compliance Software Trainer to deliver impactful training and software demonstrations to compliance teams at our client organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial compliance, a background in the financial services industry, and the flexibility to work remotely or on-site within the NJ/NYC area as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and effective training sessions on our compliance software to new and existing clients, focusing on compliance teams within large financial organizations.
- Conduct tailored software demonstrations, showcasing multiple modules designed to enhance regulatory compliance for broker-dealers, investment advisors, and banks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a deep understanding of the software and its compliance capabilities.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure the effectiveness of training programs and maintain high client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Professional Expertise:
- Extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly with broker-dealers, investment advisors, or banks.
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations, including FINRA rules, REGBI, suitability, trade supervision, trade surveillance, and written supervisory procedures.
- Experience with FINRA, SEC, MSRB, or similar regulatory bodies is a strong plus.
- Series 7 (S7) certification is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a clear and professional presence.
- Ability to present complex compliance topics in a simplified, engaging manner.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with compliance software platforms and experience delivering training in a regulated environment.
- A background in product demonstrations and client training is preferred.

- Location and Flexibility:
- Candidates may work remotely from anywhere within the US, with occasional travel to client sites in the NJ/NYC area as needed.

- Competitive hourly rates, with variations based on remote or on-site engagement.
