Senior Learning & Organizational Development Specialist

Job Description
This temporary position is responsible for supporting the Sr Manager, Global Talent Management in developing and delivering talent management programs and strategies that drive employee and organizational performance and enhance effectiveness across our workforce globally.
Responsible for the delivery and oversight of learning and development programs which support Organizational Development activities including but not limited to Change Management, Team Effectiveness, Onboarding, Learning and Leadership Development, and Org Design.
- Partners with Talent Management Specialist on Org Capability Planning & Analytics.
- Supports and facilitates the development of change management and organizational improvement efforts, including programs, tools, solutions to increase individual and organization capability and effectiveness.
- Global Leadership Development Planning and Facilitation
- Facilitate leadership development courses for all levels from emerging leaders to senior leaders such as Manager Essentials, Hiring Processes, Productivity Practices, Communicating Effectively, The Avionics Way to Lead, etc.
- Prepare communications and planning / coordination for instructor-led courses.
- Prepare and publish the FY25 Learning Catalogue.
- Collect and prepare metrics related to training and development programs.
- Change Management
- Create a Change Management Toolkit and Training in preparation for deploying a Leaders Guide for Driving Organizational Change.
- Leadership Coaching
- Conduct individual coaching sessions to support leadership development plans associated with The Avionics Way to Lead program as needed.
- Global Executive Talent Reviews (Potential Assessment + Succession Planning)
- Provide support in conducting Talent management Committee meetings.
- Analyze themes associated with succession candidate development plans. Identify needs and design programs to support emerging trends.
- Learning Management System and eLearning Development
- Administer the learning management system including maintaining courses, running reports, loading training files, etc.
- Monitor, evaluate, and contribute to developing and improving processes, systems, and tools.
- Provides support for developing or updating training materials, including eLearning courses.
- Global Talent Management
- Executes select TM programs and processes (i.e. Career Development, Succession Planning, Talent Assessment, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement Programs).
Qualifications
- Requires 5 years of related experience in learning, organizational development, organization behavior, change management, and/or project management. Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership. Or 3 years of related experience in learning, organizational development, organization behavior, change management, and/or project management and Master's degree. Preferably in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership.
- Skilled trainer / facilitator.
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively interface in a consulting/advisory role with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative and executing tasks.
- Must be able to collaborate and work well as part of a team.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- Change management experience and/or certification (e.g. PROSCI) preferred.
- Coaching experience and/or certification preferred.
- Experience in L&D, OD, Org Effectiveness, Instructional Design, Facilitation, roles within a global technology organization preferred.
