Role summary
The role will report directly to the VP of HR. The People Engagement Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture. This role involves developing strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, conducting employee surveys, and implementing programs to boost morale and collaboration.

Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement Programs:
- Develop, implement, and manage employee engagement programs and initiatives.
- Create and execute strategies to enhance the overall employee experience.
Surveys and Feedback:
- Design, administer, and analyze employee surveys to gather feedback on workplace satisfaction, culture, and engagement.
- Utilize survey results to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions.
Communication and Recognition:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Implement employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and contributions.
Training and Development:
- Collaborate with the training department to design and deliver programs that enhance employee skills and contribute to personal and professional growth.
- Identify opportunities for learning and development based on employee needs and feedback.
Workplace Culture:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the organization's values.
- Develop and implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Employee Wellness:
- Collaborate with wellness programs to promote employee health and well-being.
- Implement initiatives to support work-life balance and stress management.
Collaboration and Team Building:
- Organize team-building activities and events to strengthen relationships and collaboration among employees.
- Facilitate workshops and sessions to improve team dynamics and communication.
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP):
- Manage and promote employee assistance programs to provide support for personal and work-related challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources or a related field, with a focus on employee engagement.
- Strong understanding of employee engagement principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in organizing events, workshops, and employee programs.
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
