About This Role:
The
Senior Learning & Development Specialist creates and implements deliverables that builds capability, enhances organizational effectiveness, and develops bench strength to meet the global talent development needs of Hunter Industries and its family of companies.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks
- Leads the design, development, and delivery of curriculum that supports objectives at the departmental and organizational levels that are aligned with the overall business plan, are key to workforce development, and contribute to talent retention.
- Implements strategies that improve organizational performance. Programs include leadership development, new hire orientation and onboarding, coaching, mentoring and team building.
- Collaborates on the design and delivery of Talent Management initiatives. Works with stakeholders to provide solutions that align with our HR Global Strategy.
- Delivers training to talent at all levels within the organization using a variety of instructional techniques and methods through classroom facilitation, instructionally designed eLearning modules, video conferences, etc.
- Develops evaluation and measurement procedures for the effectiveness of training programs and provides recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Plans and implements teambuilding programs that encourage cross-functional collaboration, strengthen internal communication, and encourage a culture of cohesion and camaraderie.
- Leads the administration efforts with Talent Management related technology systems including the Learning Management System (LMS), leadership assessments, and the company’s SharePoint site referred to as Hunter Corporate Portal (HCP).
Education/Training Required And Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study.
Experience Required And Preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development, Organizational Development and/or Human Resources.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated knowledge of learning methodology and adult learning principles.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Fluent proficiency in other languages is desirable (Spanish preferred).
- Outstanding presentation skills with capability to facilitate developmental content to audiences of all sizes.
- Capable of designing and delivering leadership and management development content and programs.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, or similar.
- Excellent project management skills while maintaining a commitment to quality. Must be extremely detail-oriented and have excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work with a high degree of independence to plan, organize, and implement multiple projects within time constraints to meet deadlines.
- Must have effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts with all members of the Human Resources team as well as various business partners throughout cross-functional departments.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs with the ability to deliver results in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
- Ability to travel domestically and (possibly) internationally. Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
- Ability to provide performance consulting to business leaders and can make strategic recommendations to support the business.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $76,500 to $105,000
The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
