Human Resource Generalist at
The Place for Children with Autism, a best-in-class ABA therapy provider that specializes in providing evidence-based treatment for children on the spectrum.

HR Generalist at The Place:
- Partner with the regional operations/ clinical team on all people operations matters (employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, etc.)
- Support managers and employees through coaching on employee relations issues, policy, or benefits questions. Provide clear and accurate advice promptly.
- Conduct investigations, documenting, and recommending corrective actions due to policy violations such as harassment and reasonable suspicion.
- Assist the People Ops team on payroll, leave of absence, workers comp, leadership development, and training,
- Create and support talent management initiatives including performance evaluations, talent reviews, succession planning, training/leadership development.
- Foster a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
- Assist with facilitating new hire orientations while creating a positive first impression of the company and serving as a role model for company values.
- Visit assigned centers on a regular cadence.
- Champion employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience leading or working autonomously on employee relations, employee engagement, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- PHR or SHRM – CP certification (preferred)
- Paylocity HRIS experience (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Employee Relations and Performance Management
- Ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate with employees throughout the entire organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets required deadlines.
- Assist with LOA, FMLA, STD, and Worker's Comp claims.
