Job Description for Training Manager:
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Training Manager to lead our training and development initiatives. This role will be responsible for assessing training needs, designing and implementing effective training programs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and skills gaps.
- Conduct surveys and assessments to gather information on employee development requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and performance.
- Create engaging training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and presentations.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various instructional techniques and formats.
- Utilize a blend of in-person, virtual, and on-the-job training methods to maximize learning outcomes.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
- Continuously improve training content and methods based on evaluation results and changing organizational needs.
- Manage and mentor a team of trainers or learning and development specialists.
- Foster a culture of learning by promoting training opportunities and encouraging employee participation.
- Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Identify and recommend external training providers as needed.
- Maintain records of training activities and produce regular reports on training metrics, participation, and effectiveness.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Training Manager or similar role, supervising with a strong background in adult learning principles.
- TOT Certificate is a must.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning software.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with instructional design methodologies and training evaluation techniques.
