Job Overview:
The Corporate Learning and Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the corporate learning and development programs that foster employee growth, enhance skills, and support career development. The role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, creating development plans, and ensuring that learning initiatives align with the organization’s goals and culture. Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with business objectives and promotes a culture of continuous learning.
- Program Design & Development: Design, curate, and implement learning programs including workshops, online training, leadership development, and career pathing programs that meet the diverse needs of the workforce.
- Needs Assessment: Collaborate with department heads and HR to assess training needs across the organization and develop customized training solutions.
- Learning Platforms: Manage and optimize the company’s learning management system (LMS) to track progress, ensure participation, and analyze the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
- Content Development: Create engaging training materials and courses or collaborate with external vendors to source relevant and effective training content.
- Facilitation & Delivery: Conduct and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees across all levels, including leadership and management development programs.
- Leadership Development: Design and lead leadership training programs to cultivate future leaders and support management in their professional growth.
- Measurement & Evaluation: Assess the impact of learning initiatives by analyzing feedback, performance improvements, and key learning metrics, adjusting where necessary.
- Coaching & Mentorship: Foster a culture of coaching and mentorship by supporting managers in developing their coaching skills and providing tools for employee development.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in learning and development, corporate training, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with adult learning theories, instructional design, and various training methodologies (e-learning, blended learning, in-person).
- Technology: Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant learning technologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Required: Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal)
Work Environment:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30AM-5:00PM
- Full-time role, primarily office-based with potential for remote work flexibility
- Some travel may be required for training sessions at different company locations
Salary: $65,000 per annum + lucrative variable compensation structure
