Position Summary: The Learning and Development Specialist position partners with each functional area to effectively develop, implement, and facilitate learning content, administrate individual employee learning plans/curriculum, and lead performance management processes that are essential to achieve optimal development of Polyglass employees.
Position Responsibilities:
- Presents learning information to all employees using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as classroom/virtual facilitation, role-playing, etc.
- Develops training programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, surveys, lecture, simulations, and videos.
- Consults with employees and managers on Individual Development Plans creation, accountability, and transfer of behaviors on the job.
- Facilitates and administers compliance training and other courses on an ongoing basis.
- Creates, organizes, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
- Launches and administrates the company’s annual Performance Management process and associated technologies.
- Leads the design, development, and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet training and organizational development needs and goals for all levels of the organization.
- Reviews evaluations/assessments regarding the effectiveness of training courses, and objectives, and adjusts programs, as necessary.
- Develops, manages, determines, and approves the day-to-day operations, processes, employee records, templates, procedures, and maintenance of the LMS.
- Creates and provides on-going reporting and analysis regarding performance of programs, content, users and execution for the company business requirements, initiatives, and strategies.
- Builds and deploys online courses via LMS and ensures that learning solutions meet the ever-changing needs of the company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of classroom facilitation experience, including experience delivery using virtual communication tools and course development.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an administrator in any Talent Management technology, including LMS and Performance Management Systems, such as Docebo, Oracle, etc.
- Proficiency using MS Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in as a LMS or Talent Management system administrator preferred
- Instructional Design knowledge preferred but required.
- 10% travel required
This position is located in Deerfield Beach, FL with a hybrid schedule (in-office a minimum of 3 days a week). Local candidates strongly preferred but relocation assistance for stronger candidates will be considered.
