YOUR ROLE
The International Head of People and Culture at mymediset is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive global people strategy across all regions. This individual will design and implement innovative people and culture strategies that align with the company’s mission, values, and goals, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of top tech talent. The role also includes championing a high-performance, inclusive, and innovative culture that supports the company’s growth in the competitive software industry on a global scale.
- Develop and lead the global people and culture strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and advise the executive team on all people-related issues, including organizational design, talent management, succession planning, and culture transformation.
- Ensure the alignment of HR initiatives across all regions, adapting strategies to meet local and cultural differences.
- Oversee global recruitment processes and employer branding to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent in all markets, ensuring a competitive advantage in talent acquisition.
- Implement robust talent management and succession planning frameworks to identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention, ensuring a positive and consistent employee experience across all regions.
- Monitor and analyze employee feedback through surveys and other tools, implementing improvements based on insights gained.
- Oversee the global performance management process, ensuring it aligns with company objectives and drives a high-performance culture.
- Design and implement comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
- Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws and regulations across all markets.
- Develop and maintain global HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, consistency, and transparency.
- Lead change management initiatives related to organizational restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, or other significant business changes.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and sustained employee engagement during periods of change.
- Hands-on execution. This role requires a leader who is both strategic and highly execution-focused, working closely with and optimizing existing resources. It's about rolling up your sleeves and directly implementing initiatives using the resources already available within the organization. The successful candidate will take an active, hands-on approach to driving HR projects and initiatives to completion.
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a global or international role, preferably within the tech or software industry.
- Strong knowledge of global HR best practices, labor laws, and cultural nuances across different regions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and in all regions of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex cross-functional projects in a global context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of cultural competence, with a strong ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural environments. Experience living or working abroad is a big plus.
- Empathetic and culturally sensitive.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, demonstrating a deep understanding of how HR contributes to the business success.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment. Ability to manage change and lead through transformation is essential.
- Fluency in English is essential, Proficiency in German is highly desirable, proficiency in additional languages, such as Portuguese or Spanish, is advantageous, especially in regions where the company operates.
- HR certification(s) are a plus, reflecting a commitment to ongoing professional development.
