Job Title: Senior Director of HR
Job Overview: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director of HR to oversee and manage all aspects of our HR function. In this executive role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and drive overall HR excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership, exceptional strategic thinking, and a proven track record of managing complex HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and supports its growth and operational goals.
- Lead and manage the HR team, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure the delivery of effective HR services and programs.
- Oversee key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and organizational development.
- Partner with senior leadership to understand business needs and provide strategic HR insights and solutions to address organizational challenges and drive success.
- Design and implement programs and policies that enhance employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring that DEI principles are integrated into HR practices and organizational culture.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices, conducting regular audits and making necessary adjustments to HR practices.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and strategies, and use insights to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- Manage the HR budget, including forecasting, cost management, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments and HR functions to ensure alignment and integration of HR initiatives across the organization.
- Represent the HR function in executive meetings and contribute to strategic planning and organizational development efforts.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies and managing complex HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, organizational development, and change management.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing HR team and drive organizational change.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and employees.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals and drive impactful outcomes.
- Experience in driving DEI initiatives and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure HR effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
