Job Purpose:
The jobholder is responsible for managing talent management activities including employee performance management, learning and development, succession planning and career management in order to develop the capabilities of CCHI employees.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of Human Capital business plan in line with the strategic plan of Human Capital.
- Develop the operational plan for Talent Management in line with the business plan of Human Capital and strategic plan of Human Capital.
- Identify and measure/ monitor progress towards achieving key performance indicators.
- Participate in the development of polices in compliance with requirements (legal, internal, external).
- Manage the development of Talent Management processes, procedures, forms, and tools in compliance with policies and identify business needs for automation in coordination with Technology Services.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the team ensuring that work processes are implemented as required.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including other departments, public and private sector entities, contractors, and consultants.
- Follow-up and handle escalated cases/issues with the Director and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Develop advanced reports and submit for decision-making purposes.
- Develop annual learning and development plan and calendar based on training needs analysis and career progression needs.
- Review analysis of employees' evaluation of the training services providers, venue, and training content to ensure return on investment and proper rating of the supplier/ training program.
- Develop career paths and succession planning frameworks and associated tools and ensure proper implementation.
- Ensure the development and assessment of successors for critical roles in order to ensure competency suitability.
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent.
- Guide, mentor and support direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes.
Job Qualifications:
Education, Certifications:
- Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM SCP) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualifications or any other equivalent certification is a must.
- Proficient in oral and written English language.
Experience:
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in employee performance management, training and development, succession planning and career development.
- Previous experience in insurance sector or healthcare sector or government sector or regulatory bodies is preferable.
