As a Computer Based Learning Designer, you will be an integral part of our Technical Training & Operating Procedure team supporting the Terminal Operations. Your goal will be to collaborates with subject matter experts to learn new subjects, identify key points, and utilize learning techniques to develop computer based training that motivates and stimulates adult learners.

Your Responsibilities:

Apply the systematic process of instructional design to develop sharable content object reference model (SCORM) reusable learning objectives.

Compare varying instructional strategies for Computer Based Training and select the appropriate strategy for the learning requirements.

Apply principles of interface design, usability testing and address cultural needs and diversity in CBT design.

Apply the components and instructional theories of well-designed CBT’s for creating self pace learning products.

Design, develop and implement creative training modules and assessments.

Manage, maintain and improve the CBT’s previously developed.

Apply the variables that affect adult learning, techniques for stimulating and sustaining learner motivation and how to reinforce learning.

Organize and sequence content for tutorials.

Coordinate and collaborate between Technical Training, Environmental Health and Safety and various Subject Matter Experts.

Continuously improve, maintain, and develop Computer Based Training modules.

Provide critical support for all terminals in the terminal network including the Training Program Managers, Environmental Health and Safety, Technical Trainers and Operations Personnel.

Support all stakeholders, validate developed material, update materials as required and obtaining knowledge from the subject matter experts.
