Overview of Responsibilities: Designs,develops, and implements virtual learning solutions using a variety of media to meet the training and development needs of the organization. Leads key virtual learning initiatives from conception to completion, enhances virtual training capabilities, and fosters meaningful relationships across the organization to gain stakeholder buy-in and drive results.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- LMS Administrator: Deploys virtual learning programs on the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring optimal functionality and user experience. Collaborates with IT to utilize knowledge of LMS capabilities to deliver meaningful and rich learning experiences.
- Virtual Course Design: Utilizes advanced knowledge of virtual learning software and best practices to design engaging, interactive, and outcome-driven learning experiences, including the creation of storyboards, scripts, and multimedia elements that identify a concept or convey a message that aligns with MSGCU training goals and learning objectives. Gathers information from subject matter experts and external sources to maintain content and stay up to date on evolving training needs.
- Reporting: Maintains and analyzes training data within the LMS, utilizing Google Analytics for insight to enhance and report on training initiatives. Develops custom reports to assist with planning and executing the credit union’s training and development initiatives. Collaborates with the Human Resources, Business Intelligence teams, and other stakeholders to implement and ensure usage of data visualization solutions, data-driven tactics, and future automation tools.
- Process Automation: Develops automation processes within the LMS. Automates training assignments, learner notifications, communications, and related functions to streamline LMS functionalities.
- Vendor Management: Manages implementation, enhancements, and maintains vendor relationships of existing and future vendors. Understands how each provider supports organizational goals and integrates with larger virtual learning systems and activities. Ensures content received from vendors is compatible within LMS and meets expectations in support of MSGCU training and development goals.

Essential Preparation And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience developing virtual learning content, preferably within Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, and Review), with familiarity of SCORM and accessible design standards (minimum WCAG 2.0 AA required); and
- 2 years of Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator experience, preferably within Cornerstone, required.
- Experience with HTML and audio/video capture and editing highly desired.
Working Conditions
- Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors.
- Occasionally required to travel throughout MSGCU's service area as business needs require.
- Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk.
- This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Compensation And Benefits

- Base salary begins at $69,000 / year
- Medical, dental and vision on your first day! You can choose the most generous Health Savings Account (HSA)-eligible medical plan with no monthly premium for you (and your family)
- If you are at least 21 years old, you will receive a 3% contribution from MSGCU, and a 100% match for the next 7% you contribute to your 401(k)
- You will enjoy 12 paid holidays and up to 120 hours of PTO your first year of service (pro-rated based on start date)
