The Digital Learning & Development Executive is part of a team of our in-house L&D team who are responsible for creation, administration, delivery and review of classroom and self-paced learning. This role has a specific focus on creative digital solutions. The key creative areas are:
- The creation of engaging, modern self-paced learning, leveraging new tech solutions and AI
- This will require developing a working knowledge of our 360Learning LMS platform to create content, set up learner paths, optimise new starter inductions and drive engagement within existing employees
- Developing plans for the launch, ongoing deployment and review of self-paced learning
- Continually seek ways to drive engagement in learning, trying different approaches, tools and tech
- Keeping existing e-learning modules up-to-date, reflecting latest research processes, tools and tech
- Working with internal stakeholders to co-develop self-paced training content that supports key learning objectives / implementation targets, while recognising the needs of the end user
- Advising on approach to training, reviewing content and working with stakeholder through to implementation
- Ensuring internal training guidelines are met
- Supporting on best practice for roll out of self-paced learning
- Develop creative ways to engage different learners on available content across a variety of media, including our SharePoint site, the use of newsletters and tailored communications to teams and individuals
In addition, there would be a number of coordination type activities which include:
- Oversee the general maintenance of site and upkeep of business skills content
- Reviews and acts on feedback from self-paced learning to plan ongoing training offering
- Working with central teams to identify areas of training required to develop collaboration and improve understanding / efficiency
- Support manager analytics to drive completion rates and learning outcomes
Requirements
- Driven to develop a career in Learning and Development, with a focus on the digital and creative space
- Studied a degree within creative, digital or a similar field
- Collaboration - engage and influence key stakeholders/experts to develop content and co-create creative and engaging self-paced learning
- Communication - Communicates in an open and honest way, both within department and outside department
- Learning & Improving - Proactively seeks out opportunities to expand knowledge. Continues to question others to deepen understanding or clarify knowledge gaps
- Ownership & Accountability - Keeps key stakeholders informed of progress on initiatives and inspires confidence in ability to deliver against agreed objectives
- Self-Management - Is open to new tasks, speaking out when more clarity is needed. Offers to take on more when capacity allows
- Self-motivation - able to keep momentum on internal projects, working independently to ensure continuous progress
