Position Summary:
Designs, implements, and evaluates non-clinical training programs that enhance skills and professional development. Collaborates with leaders to identify training needs, develop educational programs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices. Acts as the administrator overseeing the UMC learning management system (LMS), performance evaluation system, succession planning program, and all UMC non-clinical employee and leadership training. Responsible for creating and analyzing reports related to training, performance evaluations, and succession planning.

Job Requirement
Education/Experience:
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of current experience in learning and development, instructional design, education, and/or training facilitation roles.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
None.
Additional Position Requirements
Priority consideration will be given to candidates who have the following experience requirements DOCUMENTED in their APPLICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, education, or similar.
- At least two years of experience administering an LMS/Performance Management system.
- At least two years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and administering learning management/performance management systems, as well as the ability to manage multiple training initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with multiple design modalities- e-learning, classroom, virtual, gamification, etc.

Assisting and conducting educational programs utilizing a variety of training tools; preparing and presenting a variety of oral and written reports; establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with a variety of training providers; managing and administering an LMS; facilitation; developing and managing a succession planning program; strong listening; effective writing and presentation; using computers and related software applications; communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment; building relationships with key stakeholders and fostering a culture of continuous learning; and collecting, analyzing, and reporting data.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions:
Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain standing for long periods of time, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. Strength and agility to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
