Heidelberg Materials Benelux is currently looking for a
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
to join the team at our headquarters in Braine-l’Alleud.

You’ll reinforce our motivated Learning & Development team and will report directly to the L&D Manager.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Manage all the H&S trainings for our 3 Business Lines and for the whole population (mandatory trainings, function specific trainings, certifications).
- In collaboration with the team and the stakeholders (BL & H&S), define, implement and manage the training offer according to the company strategy.
- Support the local Training Administrators based on plants and the Learning & Development activities: share best practices, encourage exchange of ideas and procedures, optimize the communication flow.
- Centralize the trainings needs, manage the purchase orders, budget and requests for subsidies in close collaboration with the L&D Manager.
- Manage the organizational & logistics aspects (invites, meeting rooms, catering, presence lists, feedback forms,…)
- Administration: Develop, implement (in Workday and other internal platforms), register participants, ensure reporting and monitor all training programs.
- Keep up to date with new development and technology trends (LMS, Intranet, SharePoint, Teams) and share this knowledge.
- Work in team with the L&D team (4 members), your stakeholders and external & internal training partners.
- Act as back-up for your L&D colleagues on technical and soft skills training programs.
Your profile:
Education: Administration, HR or similar – Bachelor or equivalent by experience
Experience : affinity with HR, Learning & Development & Health & Safety matters
General qualifications :
- Dutch and French (bilingual), fluent in English (business level).
- Organized, flexible, team-player and focused on agreed deadlines
- Pragmatic, proactive and solution minded
- Customer-focused and result oriented
- Ready to travel to different locations in Belgium (RMC sites, AGG quarries…) according to the needs (It is essential to have a B driver's license.)
